I installed Gentoo on 3 laptops. The first is a Toshiba TE2000. The second one I call my walmart special and this one is a Tecra 8200. I got this laptop because they are cheap on ebay and when I looked at the specs I thought it would work well with linux and it does. One of the best features is the wifi works with the native drivers.
I will post my .config files for anyone that can use them.

Everything works !!! For wireless the toshiba works with the native drivers in the kernel.
